About Us

Cheshire Cat Organic Gardens is a small company specializing in gardens which are sustainable for both the client and the environment. We are interested in helping clients who have come to the conclusion that organic gardens are the way to go but do not know what steps to take to get there.

At our first meeting, we survey the existing landscape and gardens and advise how these can be worked in a way that will do no harm to, and will enhance, the health of the environment. This may be by improving soil fertility, by reducing the size of lawn, by replacing invasive plants with appropriate vegetation, by adding plants to attract birds, butterflies, and other wildlife, or by planting the right plant in the right place to reduce the need for irrigation.

As the relationship evolves, we work with the client to enhance their garden, whether as mentor, designer or both. We specialize in smaller gardens or garden rooms within the larger landscape. We endeavor to design gardens that realistically fit the client’s lifestyle and are simple to maintain.
